Welcome!

The Sylar Newton Foundation was created in honor of 2 year old child abuse victim Sylar Orion Newton. Sylar was killed July 25, 2010.  In the days following Sylar's death many people came out and admitted they knew he was in danger and/or thought something might happen to him. We were horrified to learn that people knew something and yet said nothing until it was too late.

Update: On December 7th Christina Priem was arrested on drug charges involving a minor. On Christmas day Nancy Collins was arrested and charged with child abuse resulting in Sylar's death.

We, family and friends, got together and agreed something must be done! We are just getting started but hope to eventually do many things to fight the war against child abuse.
